Hotel Carl IX is a privately owned hotel centrally located at the main square in Vimmerby. The hotel offers 26 different guest rooms and in summer the hotel is transformed from being a valued business hotels to be families with children’s favorite holiday hotel. Our intention has been to create a meeting place for travelers and families with children of all categories and specializations and to make this their regular home in Vimmerby.

Our basic idea
our task is to create a hotel with its own unique spirit. This spirit must be cross over nationality and cultural interest.

It is an art to create a hotel, just as it is to paint, write or create music. This is the driving force and passion behind the Hotel Carl IX.

Our vision is that this hotel will be a meeting point for travelers from different business areas & directions, and a home where stressed businessmen can work efficiently, families with children able to stay comfortable & centrally while they enjoy a relaxed and inspiring surroundings.
